In addition, as a supplier to other retailers, the lighting company will use InfoChain Express^® as both a buyer and a supplier. Able to operate as a fully automated Web-based system, InfoChain Express^® is a workflow engine that will take orders from LAMPS PLUS and make them available to the appropriate vendors virtually anywhere in the world. The suppliers will then download and fulfill the orders. In addition to ensuring vendor compliance through scanning, packing and the creation of carton labels, InfoChain Express^®’ output will include electronically generated packing lists and advanced shipping notices (ASNs).
