FRAMINGHAM, Mass.—August 20, 2005—Retail Information Services the global solutions leader for brand identification and information management today announced it has named Lynde Garbin-Richards as the Director of Sales and Marketing for InfoChain Express^®.

In this newly created position, Lynde will be managing the InfoChain Express^® sales organization to develop the sales and marketing roadmap and strategies to drive growth.

Her success in this capacity, as well as her 20 years previous experience with some of the world’s largest enterprise and Supply Chain Management software companies, make her well suited to serve in this position. “Lynde has had a longstanding presence within the technology and international trade aspects of the retail industry,” said Ali Clemens, Vice President and General Manager, InfoChain Express^®. “Her addition to our core team provides RIS with a much broader strength in the international supply chain execution space. Our retail clients will benefit from her personal understanding of international sourcing and customs compliance.”

Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Lynde served as Vice President of Sales Business Development, NextLinx Corporation, an international trade and logistics software provider to Fortune 500 companies. She held many positions for 13 years at Computer Associates International including Senior Vice President of Channel and Alliances responsible for building out the worldwide hardware business partner program.
